STARS4Water is a collaborative project funded under the Horizon Europe Framework Programme that aims to improve the understanding of climate change impacts on water resources availability and the vulnerabilities for ecosystems, society and the economy at river basin scale.

It addresses the needs:

  • for an international stakeholder community to address their specific needs and requirements in adaptive, resilient and sustainable management of water resources, and
  • to develop innovative data services, models, and tools.

STARS4Water is based on 7 living labs: Drammen (NO), East Anglia (UK), Duero (ES), Rhine (International), Seine (FR), Messara (GR), Danube ( International). The HYDRO team contributes to the project with the development of new modeling approaches to the Seine River basin, in close collaboration with EPTB Seine Grands Lacs.
